I have been seeing Jared at Whidbey Dental Associates for a little over a year I believe and he is by far the best dentist I have ever had. I am a severely anxious person, specifically when it comes to medicine, doctors, etc. I recently had a wisdom teeth extraction where I was awake during the procedure and I was feeling extremely nervous but I was treated with so much kindness and empathy from Dr. Wirth and his dental hygienist. They both did their best to ease my worries and make me feel comfortable which I greatly appreciate. The new building they’ve moved to is also really nice and modern! I’m very thankful to have found this practice ☺️
Dr. Doug Wirth
Professional Background
Dr. Doug Wirth attended Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, for his undergraduate studies. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 1979. Following graduation, he spent three years on active duty in the US Navy as a general dentist and was stationed at the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island.
Throughout his career, continuing education in various dental fields has been especially important to our Whidbey Island dentist. Since opening his private practice, Dr. Wirth has continued to advance his training in dentistry by completing extended education programs in endodontics, oral implantology, smile design, cosmetic dentistry, and CEREC® crown technology. Each year, he regularly attends classes to stay on top of new technology and techniques, ultimately bringing these benefits to his patients at Whidbey Dental Associates.
